The Boring Companyis a tunnel construction company founded by Elon Musk in 2016. Musk took the inspiration of founding this company while he was stuck in the Los Angeles Traffic Jam. He wanted to find a solution to end the traffic jam and limitations with the current 2-D transportation network. The Boring Company is a subsidiary of SpaceX. Elon Musk released the information about his new company in December 2016.
In simpler words, Boring Company is an industry which digs huge bore or holes and digs tunnels below ground.
So what’s so special about Boring Company???
The Boring Company is not known for what they do, what they are going to do. Which means, the ultimate aim for The Boring Company is to reduce traffic and make it a 3d transportation network. It wants to dig a huge bore underground and apparently, these bores will transport vehicles from one destination to another at a swift speed.
According to The Boring Company, they believe that:-
To alleviate traffic, transportation corridors, like the buildings that feed into them, must expand into three dimensions. One option is to “go up” with flying cars. However, flying cars have issues with weather, noise, and generally, increase anxiety levels of those below them. The other option is to “go down” and build tunnels.
What makes it worthy ????
According to The Boring Company, The benefits are:
• There is no practical limit to how many layers of tunnels can be built so any level of traffic can be addressed.
• Tunnels are weatherproof.
• Tunnel construction and operation are silent and invisible to anyone on the surface.
• Tunnels don’t divide communities into lanes and barriers.
Some worry about tunnel not being the safest place during natural disasters like earthquake, but The Boring Company have a good throwback explanation.
They say:-
“Tunnels, when designed properly, are known to be one of the safest places to be during an earthquake. From a structural safety standpoint, the tunnel moves uniformly with the ground, in contrast to surface structures. Additionally, a large amount of earthquake damage is caused by falling debris, which does not apply inside tunnels.”
To support their answer, they have some good examples.
• 1994 Northridge Earthquake: no damage to LA Subway tunnels
• 1989 Loma Prieta (Northern California) Earthquake: no damage to tunnels, which were then used to transport rescue personnel
• 1985 Mexico City Earthquake: no damage to tunnels, which were then used to transport rescue personnel
How it would be beneficial for us???
“To solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic, roads must go 3D, which means either flying cars or tunnels. Unlike flying cars, tunnels are weatherproof, out of sight and won't fall on your head. A large network of tunnels many levels deep would fix congestion in any city, no matter how large it grew (just keep adding levels). The key to making this work is increasing tunnelling speed and dropping costs by a factor of 10 or more”,
this is the goal of The Boring Company.
Fast to dig, low-cost tunnels would also make Hyperloop adoption viable and enable rapid transit across densely populated regions, enabling travel from New York to Washington DC in less than 30 minutes. A Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger and/or freight transportation, first used to describe an open-source vactrain design released by a joint team from Tesla and SpaceX.

So why it is not done before???
Currently, tunnels are really expensive to dig, with some projects costing as much as $1 billion per mile. In order to make a tunnel network feasible, tunnelling costs must be reduced by a factor of more than 10. And that is one of the barriers that The Boring Company is facing now. They want to construct these tunnels efficiently, fast and cheap in expenditure; so that they can build more tunnel around the world.
What are the barriers they are facing???
Expenditure - As we said, expenditure is one major factor which is holding them back. According to them, construction of these tunnels takes around 1$ billion per mile, according to the Boring Company.
City Officials Problems – This problem is linked to the state and the government. Due to this huge and never-seen-before project, the Local Government are hesitating about the responsibility of the tunnel’s risk it may suffer in future. Ad:
This resulted in a council meeting in on Monday in LA County's Culver City. During the meeting, Jehn Balajadia, the Boring Company's operations chief, argued for permission to put part of a 6.5 mile "proof of concept" tunnel beneath Culver City. Councilwoman Meghan Sahli-Wells said, "I don't really trust a private company to watch out for equity because I haven't seen it happen,"
The Boring Company has already received approval to dig a 10.3-mile tunnel in Baltimore beneath the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and has discussed constructing a tunnel between downtown Chicago and O'Hare International Airport with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Characterizing Culver City as “forward-thinking,” Mayor Jeffrey Cooper opined that “it would be foolhardy of us to just say no.”
Council memberMeghan Sahli-Wells, however, wasn’t being impressed, said. “I asked a lot of questions. I didn’t get any answers,” she told Capital & Main. “They sent us the PR people. They didn’t send us the planners. I, so far, have not seen a plan.”
Uprising Competitions – Another small yet important barriers the company would suffer in the future. Since it is a private company, other private company may also come forward and make their own tunnels across the state, resulting in a huge confusion and chaos. It is a big concern for the local government.
According to the Law and the Government, a public transport and public transit system comes under the facility given by the Government. If the public transit and the way of transportation are controlled by a private company like The Boring Company, it would lead to chaos and competitions among various private companies and this might loosen the control of the government over the public transit system.
How much would be the cost of transportation ???
“Fare prices are not finalized but will be comparable to or lower than current public transportation fares for pedestrians.”
These were the words of The Boring Company. According to them, they say that the transportation cost will be a fair price and apparently, it would be less than current transportation fares.
We are really impressed by this company. First of all, they; being a private company; are taking initiative on the public transport system for us which cost around 1$ Billion Dollar to construct. Second of all, the cost of the transportation would be comparable to or lower than current public transportation fares for pedestrians.
This affection towards the technology by The Boring Company is well praised and thanked.

The Boring Company is really doing well, and the hard work of the company might be worth in future. Their awesome thinking and innovation of the project are well respected. By this project, the company is not only taking care of traffic and the efficiency on the roads, but also the future development of humanity and technology.

Shortcut Express Keys
Wacom Intuos Pen has two buttons on its pen. These buttons can be used as shortcut keys. You can configure these keys in the Wacom Software which you get as a CD when you first buy it. A normal digital artist would use the keys as Undo and Pen Size Shortcuts on Photoshop respectively. In most of Wacom Intuos tablet, you also get at least 4 shortcuts keys on the tablet itself. These too can be configured in the Wacom Software.
Better Handling
The new Intuos pen has a great grip on it. Its almost feel like a real pen when holding. It sleek curve on the pen’s tip also gives good handling and better balance. And the is not that big which makes it easy to carry and travel. And it is lightweight, unlike other pen tablets like Huion.
Long Battery Life
Talking about the Portability about this tablet which makes it an ideal tablet from travelling. Its pen also has a great battery life, which is absolutely a great feature for me. It offers a 15 hour Battery life.
If your pen uses a battery, then it is even better. You just have to change the battery and you can work on the go.
Even though it has long Battery Life, it might take some time to charge it.
Other than that, it has a really great battery life and trust me, it will help you one day.
Easy to use
It is really easy to use for both beginners and professionals. Its setup might take some time, but when it comes about the usage of this tablet, it is really easy to use the tablet.
Just plug the tablet to your computer and start working. It's that easy.
And it can work on the majority of drawing applications, like Photoshop, Paint-Tool Sai, Illustrator, Ms Paint and many more.
Cons
Scratches
This tablet may show some scratches when you work a lot with it. Hence, after some time, it might turn from a brand new tablet to a scratchy tablet.
Even though it might not affect the functionality of the tablet, it still can make your workflow a little bit slower if you think about it.
And if you accidentally damage the drawing part of the tablet, it might affect the whole functionality of the tablet.
The setup.
The setup of this thing might be overwhelming. If you are not familiar with a drawing tablet or never used a drawing tablet before, this part might be a bit difficult to do.

This is an Awesome drawing tablet if you want to get into digital drawing. It is simple yet powerful and efficient drawing tablet for beginners.
It is really the cheapest best drawing tablet that you can get it for between $80 and $200.
It is very durable and it can be used for many years if proper care is taken.
It has 1024 - 4,096 levels of pressure-sensitivity which makes it stand out from other cheap tablets.
It is compatible with most of the applications out there, like photoshop, paint tool sai, illustrator, etc.
